1. Losing your key loses your money
Write your recovery phrase down. Keep it somewhere a fire, a flood and a house move cannot all reach at once. Do not photograph it, do not put it in a note-taking app, and do not type it into anything that asks for it — including anything claiming to be us. We will never ask for it.
2. Transfers cannot be undone
A confirmed TRON transfer is permanent. Send to a wrong address and it belongs to whoever holds that address, if anyone does. Send to an address on the wrong network and it may be unrecoverable by anybody. There is no chargeback, no dispute process, and no intermediary who can step in — that is what "no intermediary" costs.
3. You are the target
Self-custody makes you the whole attack surface. Realistic attacks: someone who can unlock your phone, a fake support account offering to "verify" your wallet, a clipboard-swapping app that changes the address you pasted, a screen-sharing call, and somebody standing behind you. Verify a recipient address through a second channel before a large transfer.
4. USDT is not a dollar
USDT is a token issued by Tether, which says it is redeemable for one US dollar. It is not a bank deposit, it is not insured by the FDIC or any equivalent, and it is not guaranteed by anyone. Its value can and has deviated from one dollar. Tether can freeze balances at specific addresses at the contract level, and does so at the request of law enforcement. We cannot prevent that or reverse it.
5. Network conditions and fees
TRON charges for transfers in bandwidth and energy, which are acquired with TRX or by staking it. Those costs move with network demand. The app quotes you a flat fee in USDT before you authorise a transfer so you never have to hold TRX — but the underlying cost is real, it varies, and the quoted fee will change over time to reflect it.
Networks also congest, stall and fork. A transfer can take longer than usual, and in extreme conditions a broadcast transaction may not confirm.
6. Exchange counterparty risk
Money held at Kraken, Binance.US or ABCeX is held by them, not by you and not by us. It is exposed to their solvency, their security, their compliance decisions and their ability to freeze an account. Showing that balance next to your wallet balance in one list is a convenience, not a claim that the two are equally yours. They are not.
7. Software fails
The app, the TRON network and the USDT contract are software, and software has defects. A defect in any of them can cause loss. The app is provided without warranty; see section 11 of the Terms of Service.
8. Regulation changes
The rules covering stablecoins, self-custodial wallets and cross-border transfers are unsettled and differ by country. A change where you live may make some or all of what the app does unavailable to you, at short notice, through no decision of ours.
9. Tax is yours
Holding, sending, receiving and converting crypto-assets may be taxable where you live. The app is not a tax product and does not report anything on your behalf. Keep your own records.
10. Not advice
Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Only commit what you can afford to lose entirely.
